pencil lead and oak spices before displaying a balanced structure with firm gripping tannins that will need another year or two in the bottle to settle

more bright and more fragrant

This has an interesting texture that is almost oily yet there is very good energy

The lively and utterly delicious middle weight flavors possess better volume along with a bit more depth and persistence on the equally refreshing finish. This is almost always boxes above its weight chez Fontaine and it does so again in 2020.
