These geodes are partially hollow rather than the "traditional" completely hollow geodes typically thought of. Inside are smaller pockets with individual crystals inside (sometimes double terminated!) Because of this, we suggest to only crack them open rather than use a saw, otherwise you may saw through a crystal.
