The label reads B Altman Fifth Avenue New York B. Altman was a high end fashion and fabrics department store founded in 1865 and located on Fifth Avenue in New York from 1906 until its closure in 1989. The coat does up the front with buttons in a two by two configuration. It has a black velvet collar, wide lapels, long sleeves, a chest pocket,
