Kazuya san's "Abyss" works are formed from wood fired wild porcelain clay mixed with cobalt, resulting in a dazzling galaxy of textured blue and white. This magnificent example is no exception, featuring a raised rim around flat central area, strewn with small white ceramic shards in a background of pale and dark blue reminiscent of a deep, frozen alpine
