The result is an exceptionally vigorous clone that forms dense clumps, which burst out of the ground for us in mid August. The 20" tall stalks are topped with large heads of rosy pink flowers, each with a blush of blue at the tip. After flowering, the winter growing foliage emerges in mid October.
