Boekenhoutskloof, Syrah other_regions Mossy aromas plus baked cherryAll own vines since 2015. 80% from the top of Porseleinberg, 20% from Goldmine. 40% whole bunches. Floral overtones with gentle garrigue notes, bacon fat and smoky, black, berry fruits. Subtle chocolate notes from oak. Fairly full bodied, but with brisk acidity that enlivens the palate. Powdery tannins give structure. Terrific, elegant, white pepper laced finish. (TJ)
