This instrumental album covers various genres including jazz, country, rockabilly and blues. It was the first album by Gatton that was released on a major record label: Elektra Records. 88 Elmira St. was named after Gattons childhood home, and it includes a cover version of the Danny Elfman composed theme song to The Simpsons. Gatton, who died in 1994 at only 49
