All three books were edited by Olive Beaupre Miller and the Little Pictures of Japan was illustrated by Katharine Sturges the other two books were illustrated by Maud and Miska Petersham. All three were published by The Bookhouse for Children publishing house of Chicago in 1925, 1926 and 1927
