The translucent orange plastic insert that sits behind the “spokes” were at some point re-secured with clear tape (visible in the photos)

but almost certainly 19th century

while the bowl measures 4” wide and 8” long including its handle

This example is in very good condition with only very slight edge toning and a tiny tear and corner crease to the back cover (see last close-up photo)

Introduced in 1944, Medford features trailing green ivy leaves accented by delicate blue blossoms and hand applied gilding. The underside and interior lid both bear the Royal Crown Derby backstamp with the date code
