There is still traces of residual post bottling sulfur on the ripe and ever so vaguely exotic aromas of essence of pear, apple compote and citrus confit. The round and plump yet almost painfully intense middle weight flavors are almost aggressively mineral driven while the evident power seems to build on the long if mildly rustic finale. In the context of what is typical for this wine, it should be approachable
