Rare & difficult to find solid walnut Louis XIV period chateau bonnetiere, circa early 1700s. An exceptional documentary example from the Lyon region of France, this area was notable in the early 1700s for its superior production of armoires. The upper cabinet features a pronounced stepped cornice above a single door with the original key &
