The fabric is very soft, in a medium thickness and of very nice quality. The coat has a Montreal retailer label on the interior lining, Harry Rosen, and was most likely made in Montreal, Canada by Cardinal, a manufacturer with a history dating to 1938 that from the beginning focused on manufacturing quality cashmere topcoats.
