Flavours of orange rinds and red plum skins segue into a finish that takes a few seconds to really set in and show itself
which is to say reserved and primary yet classy
This is elegant and seems to have the austerity of a very balanced vintage
sappy and highly complex flavors are underpinned by supple tannins that have none of the aggressiveness of the typical '95 today
Paul Jaboulet Aine, Reynard Size:6x750ml Flavours of orange rinds andRipe blackberries, cassis, violets, orange zest, and black pepper all emerge from the 2023 Cornas Reynard, another nicely concentrated, rich, layered 2023 from Caroline Frey. With medium to full bodied richness, a pure, elegant mouthfeel, and silky tannins, it's going to need just a few years of bottle age, but it's a serious wine.
